What is an .sdltm?
It's a translation memory format widely used by agencies: a small database of translated sentence pairs. Other tools don't open it, but almost all of them import TMX, the standard format.
Is anything lost?
The text, the formatting tags (if you choose) and the date of each unit are kept. The memory's own fields (client, project…) don't carry over to the TMX. Empty and duplicate units are removed.
Is it safe with confidential material?
Yes. The file is processed in your browser and never reaches our servers.
