Convert a TBX glossary to Excel (and Excel to TBX)

Open a TBX glossary in Excel to review or extend it, or turn a table of terms into TBX for any translation tool.

The file is processed in your browser: we neither upload nor store it.

Frequently asked questions

What columns does the table have?

Source, translation, forbidden terms, part of speech, definition and notes. To go from Excel to TBX the first two are enough: the source in the first column and the translation in the second.

How do I save the Excel file to convert it?

In Excel, “Save as” → “CSV UTF-8 (comma delimited)”. Tab-separated files work too.

Is it safe with confidential material?

Yes. The glossary is processed in your browser and never reaches our servers.
